Have several US Mint rolls that I have ordered over the years. About half of them - I busted them open, put one in my book, gave away a few to other collectors and put the rest in plastic tubes for storage.
Some have never been busted opened, either I don't have a book or already had the space filled. I am now thinking of removing them from the US Mint wrapped rolls and putting them into plastic coin tubes..(my version of roll air tights)

What are your thoughts on this? Don't really consider myself a roll collector. Thought one is the Mint wrapper may bring added value in a future trade. Thought two is the coins will be better preserved and protected in the plastic tubes. What do you do with your mint rolls?

I am not an expert but the mint rolls I have, I placed in the roll in Tubes then Scotch taped the seam shut
My feeling is that the mint roll will help if you attempt to sell them.
