Over the decades I've personally seen more money foolishly spent on it than I've seen winners - especially with moderns. For some it's like buying scratch-off lottery tickets hoping to hit the jackpot. The TPGs are EXPERTS at taking money. There's not a soul on the internet that can accurately grade a proof between 69 and 70 using pictures. I would include professional graders and dealers in that as well. Lincoln Cent Lover!
