Hey guys it's been a while, I kind of lost interest in coins after my PCGS internship. I left this coin I have on the back burner and as I was slowly getting back into numismatic I remembered I have this 1963 Proof Franklin half. I was never good at taking pictures of proof coins under the microscope so this is the best I could do. Thanks for taking a look guys

So what do you guys think, DDO and DDR? There is more doubling than pictured, just had a hard time capturing it

This is the L of liberty on the obverse

These are the D O and second L of dollar on the reverse

Not a guy, but could you show us more of your coin? What we are seeing could be anything!

I just meant to address everyone reading this my bad.

I can't get better photos of the devices so if this isn't enough for a conclusive answer than I apologize, perhaps I'll send it to wexler. Here are the obverse and reverse though

Try changing the angle of the lighting. It will illuminate the areas we need to see better. I still think I'm seeing some evidence of separation lines though so it's promising.

I will when I get home today, I played around with it so much, I don't have the same light source that I used to use, but I'll try a different one and see how it turns out.

I won't go into too much detail on this thread. It was a mixture of "don't meet your heroes" and not having a place to go from the top. After working for so long to get into PCGS the whole situation let me down so much. I'm getting back into it as a hobby though, might write a book or two soon to help me get back.
