1963 Proof Franklin Half Dollar, Doubled Die Obverse / DDO / Doubled Die Reverse / DDR ?

SilverStackerKid Pillar of the Community United States 6478 Posts	Posted 01/18/2021 10:56 pm Hey guys it's been a while, I kind of lost interest in coins after my PCGS internship. I left this coin I have on the back burner and as I was slowly getting back into numismatic I remembered I have this 1963 Proof Franklin half. I was never good at taking pictures of proof coins under the microscope so this is the best I could do. Thanks for taking a look guys So what do you guys think, DDO and DDR? I will when I get home today, I played around with it so much, I don't have the same light source that I used to use, but I'll try a different one and see how it turns out. Quote: Can you tell us why? John1 I won't go into too much detail on this thread. It was a mixture of "don't meet your heroes" and not having a place to go from the top. After working for so long to get into PCGS the whole situation let me down so much. I'm getting back into it as a hobby though, might write a book or two soon to help me get back.
