Good afternoon everyone;
I have been told that I am probably one of the few real southern gentleman there is, I have strong values and, morals. My roots run deep in the northwest corner of Georgia I've only pulled them up once for eight years when I had the honor and privilege to serve this great Nation as a member of the U.S.Army, I came back and replanted myself deep inside of Lookout Mountain, I am a certified Master Carpenter, and have several years of experience in the tool and die works. Due to an accident a few years ago I forced to take an early retirement, this is where I became aquatinted with numismatics, although I hoped that maybe I could supplement my income but once I got involved it became more than that. To take an old Indian Head cent and imagine how it's survived 100+years, and to see the detail in the engraving on such a small scale it's absolutely amazing.
I love searching for old coins inside of old buildings and such I guess that is why I use coinscavinger seems to fit.
I'm looking forward to getting to know just as many of y'all as I can, I believe in trying to keep life as simple as I can and not letting a day go by without learning something.

I too am fairly new here, and we all working together can help you solve these nuministic questions. Myself personally, I'm a little of everything coin related, American, foreign, tokens, metals, etc. You have an awesome backstory, and we here honor that greatly.
I also have a weakness for urban/abandoned exploration for things to salvage (of collector value) if I get a chance to.
