I was more than fortunate to have my offer accepted by the owner of this coin on Heritage Auctions last month. She finally came in. The 1916 50 Sen has been graded 288 times at PCGS and of those only 27 were graded at the top grade of MS-67.

There are a few of these out and about, but I especially loved this one because of the 1989 PCGS holder. From what I understand PCGS was much more stringent on their grading standards back in the day. So this give me a "True MS-67" feel. I almost wonder if I send it now, would it get a MS-68?

@Coinfrog Hehe. I was born in 1988, so I've got it by a year! :)

That coin is a stunner.
I am even more stunned that Coinfrog is so young.
