chadcoins Pillar of the Community Canada 1159 Posts	Posted 01/25/2021 11:24 pm This coin is kinda interesting and what do you think happened here? It has a very dull finish like some sort of coating. Have a good look at the 2 and we can see an overlay of a second 2. Were the over lays occurred the coin is flat in that area. The 8 and 9 show it well too. Head scratch-er!! I was kinda thinking if the die was cleaned with some sort of cleaner and this could be the first coin struck with the residue. The rim beads show a good die shift also. Report this Post to the Staff
