I can't buy any new bags of wheat cents until I recoup at least the cost of one I have already bought. So says the Significant Other. LOL.

So this 1941 D has a strike through on the reverse, but didn't sell. Then I was looking at the photos when I was getting ready to relist, and was like, "That's a DDR!"

My new phone takes great whole coin pictures, so was able to see the DDR "dots" and thick "L" & "U"'s. This was from my first Wheat cent bag, and the dots may have a bit of damage,so must have just shrugged it off and focused on the struck through.

Found the identifiers, and it is WDDR-001 as see on Copper Coins.

The "WE" die markers give it away.

Yes its a DDR but not 1DR-003 with the DDO and RPM. Could be 1DR-002 looks like a match, but I can see any markers in the pictures. The marker on WE is a gouge in the E and the side of G in GOD. That strike through is so minor I dont know what you would expect to get for it. The DDR would be a better sell but still, not sure what you could get for it in that condition. I would think you would be lucky to get $1.

looks like 1DR-001 to me too.

i cant see any images for WDDR-002. but the crossref on coppercoins, the mint mark is way off.

EDIT: after a second look, I now think it looks like 1DO-002

I did the same thing. Meant 1DR-002 and typed 001. We all do it. Just like levels type 1DO-002 and I'm sure he meant 1DR. Lol

Thanks CH.
Levels, yes they don't sell for much. Nobody on here cherry picked it for the $0.25 plus $1 shipping (which is good cause now I will add to my double dies). I can sell 250 like this (or better which are selling for between $1-$2) or have to sell 10 great varieties to get the $$ my SO wants. She wants to see these really are more valuable than $0.03. Its a good education in all that comes up in terms of being a seller, too I'll tell you that, from how much time it takes to shipping problems. For when I retire someday. LOL.
