Looks as tho the plating is coming off because of abuse.

looks like somebody painted the rims grey and then the fields with grey and a brownish red color good paint job some bored kid most have done it

I am not going into all the detail because I don't feel like arguing the point again:-) BUT...YThis is what a plated cent looks like after it's been stuck in clothes dryer fin at a laundromat. We call them Dryer Coins.
