It did charge to my bank. I'll take that as a win, I guess?

Quote: I was also connected remotely to a Windows 10 virtual machine at the main office data center. We have a pretty fat pipe and it is synchronous (unlike the asynchronous 200/15 connection I have at home). The experience was pretty much the same, even though my connection at home ended up getting the order to process.
Yes, I was worried I might get flagged for being logged in at two IPs over ten miles apart. Never had to identify squat though! jBuck, same, but my VPN was the one that got the coins this time. Usually the VPN messes stuff up, not today.

Also, did anyone else on the technical side notice or know why it sends a request to Facebook when ordering? I'm not on Facebook in any browser session (and actually don't even have an account with them).
Is that for the share button at the bottom of the page? And if so, why does it not also show it making requests to Twitter, Pinterest, the other buttons, etc.?

68 minutes of bad gateways, order rejects, never got the order confirm screen, but got a CC hold and an emptied cart. At this point, I believe I am certifiable for spending that much wasted time on the interwebs. Sheesh—I'll take a root canal WITHOUT Novocaine instead of this insanity, but mission accomplished. LOL
Edit—finally got an emailed order ack with an order # after 10 minutes.

In 2021, I've been 100% with my US Mint order. Everything got through (now I haven't actually gotten anything yet, but I do have orders)

Wow. Just wow. Finally got mine... I was a bit on the fence about these, but then I remembered the 2012 reverse proof and how nice that looked.
Where are you guys seeing the amount left?

Yes, I noticed that the site was sending stuff over to Facebook.
No idea if I got an order in....site crashed during checkout, I can see a lower available balance on my credit card, nothing in my bag anymore, but no email confirmation yet.
Yet again disappointed by the US Mint web site performance.

An hour and 4 minutes to snag a set. Who would have thought there was so many different errors floating around.

And even then.... still not confident until the coins are in hand!

About 35k left as of 1:30 ET. Quote: Where are you guys seeing the amount left? If you look at the product page's source code (in Firefox, go to the triple lines and hit more tools). Then do ctrl-f and type in "data-available" and the number to the right of it is believed to be the quantity remaining. There's a thread on this where a Youtuber gave a demo. http://goccf.com/t/406277
