Hello!

I'm new here and very interested in starting my collection. I have been given a Roman coin, but with no identifying information. As I'm a beginner, is there anyone out there who can help me identify this coin?

Thank you in advance for all your help.

to CCF!

Minted in Rome (I think), under Constantine the Great, 335-336 AD. Two soldiers holding standards on the reverse.

Inscriptions read:
CONSTANTI-NVS MAX AVG (Constantine Maximus Augustus)
GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS (Glory to the Army)

Not 100 % sure about mint, but I think it says R*P under the soldiers, which is Rome.

Thank you so much for taking the tone to look. I am in agreement, I came to the same conclusion, but as I'm a beginner I required a more experienced eye. Thank you.
