Hello,
I just started getting into the coin stuff and know very little about it. I was wondering where I can find out any info on one of many coins that I have to start educating myself on how all this works. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get info on this coin...such as worth, if its rare, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Type 50 centavos Mexico 1944 in a search box and you'll find all the information you would want

The current market value of common modern world coins can be found with an ebay search. IN this case, "Mexico 50 centavos 1944." If you do an Advanced Search, and check the box Sold Items then click on Search, you will see a lot of examples that have sold recently. Then you can compare yours to ones in similar condition to know the value.

Another good site to use for coins is Numista. Here's the link to your coin: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces3844.html

this coin looks polished so probably only worth silver value (it is 72% silver)
