For sale as a XF Details at $277. Thoughts?
The "Details" could refer to the rim nick at the top and a minor whizzed appearance of the obverse?

I like the one in your accompanying thread much better. The cleaning lines are a lot more evident here.

I'm not a fan of hairlines personally. Reverse is slightly stronger on this one but the obverse rim hit and the hairlines detract. VF35 Details for me.

I'm at VF35 details also. full retail on a straight VF35 would be about $200. coin is overpriced

The PCGS price guide has the 1835 Capped Bust in VF35 condition at $250. https://www.PCGS.com/prices/detail/...grades-25-60
In XF40 grade, the PCGS guide shows a price of $350 while NumisMedia shows a price of $342.

I'd still say overpriced. At VF 35 retail, graded...$250. Selling prices are consistently less than that. I'd cut that price in half at least for a raw VF Details

That seems to be correct. Last VF35 Details sold on ebay for $129.50.
