Image 1 coin on the right is missing color on the ship .

Image two the ship on the left is missing color .

Image three is the coin with missing color on ship .

I picked this coin out a roll .

Has any one else come across this missing color on ship ?

When first looked at coin ship color looked like coin was stained . Looking closer ship ha no color like normal coins .

There is no "colour" on the Shannon ship.
The core is made of brass plated aluminum bronze.
Can't say from your pictures as they are out of focus
but it could be toning or possibly the aluminum showing through.
A clear closeup of that area might help.
