Yes, photos, especially because so many factors can contribute to a mint mark being filled. I can think of times when the "blob" is considered a variety, related to repeated punches by machine or by hand that becomes worn and when wear is a factor by itself. When you are able to post photos, folks that are a lot smarter than I am will be able to help.
