Abdul Aziz gold 500 Qirsh AH 1277 Year 11 (1871) MS63 NGC, KM265, Fr-10. Obv. Toughra, with value below. Rev. Accession date and regnal year. A magnificent example of this iconic Egyptian gold issue. The strike is flawless, with nicely reflective fields and greenish-gold patina over lustrous surfaces. Only a few tiny marks are noted on close examination and the overall appearance would lead one to think the grading quite conservative. In many cases, similar examples are called Specimen strikes. One of the great rarities of Egyptian numismatics, with a mintage of only 200 pieces.

42.72 grams of .8750 gold.
Take a close look at what large areas of fields look like for an MS-63 gold coin.
