I'm looking for folks who have examples of the very popular 1956-D RPM-001 that has a BIE. It is shown on VV so I am sure it exists, but I have not been able to find one. Please respond to this thread or by PM/email if you have one. I'm especially looking for one in BU. I'd be willing to do free high resolution imaging on an example coin and will pay shipping both ways to have the opportunity.

I have already posted high resolution images of an MDS example of this coin, please see them here:

I own the Cuds-on-Coins plate coin for that BIE. PM me if that one would work for what you are looking to do. I might have a second one as well but I don't think it's MS grade.

Great! I sent you a PM with contact info. It looks like the BIE break is not super tall, so hits or even a little wear won't do much damage to the raised metal. I will do a 3D image of that area to compare with other BIEs as well as the full coin images, and maybe 3D of date and MM as well.

TB always coming through. I have RPM -1 but I dont think I ever paid attention to it enough to check for a BIE.

Gonna have to look now.
