Here is the coins edge the copper is on the reverse side of the coin.

The quarter is 5.69g.

Here is a picture of the coins edge. The copper is on the reverse side of the coin. I also weighed the coin it is 5.69g.

Could this be a strike through vs. a die clash? That might also explain the how/why the silver cladding was damaged.
