Can anyone direct to an accurate place to get coin values please... have some valuable coins and looking to possibly sell. Local dealers I attempted to use for info basically trying to steal them. Thank you !!

First you'll need to determine a grade. Using that, checking sold listing on auction sites (GC, HA, etc.) and ebay of coins in similar grades will get you in the ballpark. Numismedia is another decent source. Value is based on what they are currently selling for on the market (not what people list them for).

Feel free to post pics here of the coins in question! You'll get plenty of feedback.

Very few people will touch a high value coin unless they are slabbed by a respected TPG.
I mention this since you mentioned an 1856 FE.

Ty2020b pointed out some good pricing sources.
