I know there's been a thread like this before but I am doing to start a thread for people who coin roll hunt pennies. last Thursday I got a fifty dollars bag from the bank and got 15 wheats, 29 canadians, a proof 1968s and a 1998 that was zinc and not coated with copper, what is that worth.

Copper can be stripped off the the zinc as you describe on the '98. No real value there.

A proof '68-S is likely worth a $1 if it's in good shape. The 15 wheaties are worth about $0.50 if they're common dates.

But think of all the fun you're having on a winter day!
