Would this be worth sending in? It came out of a hard plastic case mint set. Some of The coins are toned and the cased is so messed up you can hardly see the coins.

First of all this Half could not have come out of a hard plastic mint set from the U.S. mint . 2nd I agree with GrapeCollects that this is a proof . A 55 proof Half would have came out of either a flat pack or a box set . Either way hard to see FBL from these photos .

Nice proof coin. Photos aren't sharp enough to tell for sure but looks like it might be FBL. I think a nice frosted cameo would be more desirable though.

Shouldn't proofs have, by definition, Full Bell Lines? Unless it is a proof with severe wear. But then it should be PF55 or so.
