Rocky I agree with you about those sets and also about the way the Mint work now, unbelievable. I will take out just for example of those errors a proof 2012 set in which almost all coins are gold plated full and not selective. I have also specimen in 2011 with 3 penny 's and miss me what is my loves' collection the "50 cent". For the dollar missing I do not give a penny for , but my 50 cent SP?

To all, the die adjustment idea (Rocky discovery) open a door in my mind. Some phone calls to my friend collectors and investors, to a guy from Ottawa mint resource department, and my contact to NGC. The result is positive: Mean exist those coins, but not suppose to past in circulation or sets. Here a link of adiacent website of mint error news. https://www.minterrornews.com/featu...present.htmland with prices https://ctferrorcoins.com/Search.as...e+adjustmentUp to you to accept or reject, sure any comments and opinion will can decide. PS in second llink all coins are certified NGC and PCGS

Also I extract from a RCM internal presentation of the processes of the multiply coins a small diagram. Me I will not post everything, I will talk about but not publish. If someone have 'it is OK but me I will not publish with the notes of my friend on. I believe in the Rocky theorem. Take your own consideration. In the same document they talk about an EMS signature of the coins which mean every coin is recognized by electro-magnetic fields been the value which show and been real, This is done through the processes of annealing where the magnetic field of the coin is different by the 180 degrees of the median axes.

This idea of EMS security of every coin since 2000 is just a marketing ploy that works well on paper but in the real world. Just look at the rash of counterfeit toonies recently, the central big five banks sorting centers must have these fancy EMS detectors and many members here have received fake toonies recently from bank rolls

@John100 You scare me. We introduce a technology, invest in production chain and in fact is just blowing in the wind because the bank are to cheapy to buy a 300$ detector?
But what it is your thinking about the adjustment die coins?

You have good members here and probably the foremost counterfeit person in Canada go to a local bank and found a few bad toonies in the rolls, some years the RCM in Canada crank out a billion or more on this EMS security and coins for about 30 other countries there is no data base big enough to store such info plus in 2013 the nice people at Winnipeg tour told me it cost about 13 cents to produce a loonie, just how much security tech can you put in a 13 cents coin. Because the weight is correct and a full rim I believe you have the best die adjustment strike I"ve seen, send it to PCGS and put it in a major auction, only one way to find value. I am sure the banks"s coin centers were given some kind of security device I question the tech itself

Thanks for the advise on the coin. I will certify and send wit the new lot of tokens and errors to Heritage. Till November I have every week something on weekly auctions. I hope Rocky will put sometimes in future his coins here to see (Him has many).
About the EMS, is cheap. I have one which I use in Nord (is South from where I live now, but 600 m over the sea level) on my property for better locations of the solar panels and redirect the Wi-Fi 's. and what I have at this price has the both modes.

Quote: This idea of EMS security of every coin since 2000 is just a marketing ploy that works well on paper but in the real world. Just look at the rash of counterfeit toonies recently, EMS does not work for loonies or non-security toonies pre-2012. That's why all the counterfeits are earlier coins.
