You know this Justinian I is so flat and thin compared to so many other issues of the Byzantine Empire and the strike just seems so much more like late Imperial. Was there just so much left over late 4th century stuff they were still using it and did not need much of the type of coin so was that all still honored the late imperial stuff? Considering how much we see of it today the world must have been awash in it.
