I know that Lincoln Cents (shouldn't) have Reeded Edges , but this 1972 D does for whatever reason.. If you look closely at the edge above the ST in STATES you can see the raised points of the reeds. Any input would be greatly appreciated..
Impossible to be an error. To have reeded edges they would have to be on the collar and I'm pretty sure the Mint does not have a cent collar with reeding on it. Just some form of PMD
