Gordian III AR Antoninianus. IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, Radiate, draped & cuirassed bust right / AETERNITATI AVG, Sol, radiate, standing left with globe. RSC 41. It may have been holed to be nailed on a wall ,door, or shield to try and receive protection from the God or ruler that is shown on the coin.. Composition:silver. Weight: 3.8 grams.
