Hi,
Weight is 26.95 grams.
It appears to be authentic, is it from around 1904?
Grade opinions welcome :)
Thanks.

The weight and translation is correct at least, I can't tell anything else from these photos.

This image might be of interest. It is from my book "Empires & Money", which has 380 pages and over 4000 images of coins and coining/mining. Isbn 978 1 896713 02 1 Paul

I guess it was real, I was watching it at £50 and then last second it sold for £420. Can't always grab a bargain!

Hi, no idea. I was watching it on ebay and it sold for the above amount.

To my eye it looks like a fake. The design looks too spread apart and the 7 doesn't seem to match any images I found online.

Hope the buyer gets it checked out as soon as they receive it

Very light strike raises a few suspicions, but I won't say 'fake', if very close to correct weight, which needs to be confirmed.
I would 'hasten slowly', rather than be 'trigger happy'.

If the opportunity arose for me to buy it, I would want to do some picture comparisons with known genuine examples. I would be less inclined to compare with pictures on ebay.
Google Images is a more useful tool for this type of investigation.
Auction records with pictures from public auctions such as Heritage would also be a good comparison tool.

If the coin was in my hand, I would be tempted to investigate further with XRF.

To buy on ebay, dependable return option essential even after purchase, so that confirmation of authenticity by slabbing can be done.
Then, it would be far easier to sell it, decades later.
