A few years back I was given a 1754 half penny which I believe to be an AU55. Since the Krause Standard Catalog only goes up to EF, at how much do you think that this coin would be valued?

(Sorry about a lack of pics for now. Since this coin is pretty much the crown jewels of my collection, I am a bit apprehensive of removing it from its airtight holder and scanning it).

My Spink catalogue dates from 2003, but it quotes prices in British grades: VF (American EF) £55, EF (American AU) £225.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Sap! That does indeed help.
