1922 D Lincoln Wheat Cent - "Weak D" Die 4 - "Coattails"

I found this in a wheat bag a few days ago. Wasn't going to post it as the "weak D" coins don't really excite me. But I remembered how few examples there were to compare with online the first time I tried to look one of these up, and there were almost no usable images showing the die wear detail.

So here is a "coattails" variety, die 4, which is supposed to come in no-D and weak-D forms. I don't know at what point they separate those, but at the right lighting angle you can still see the D on this one so I'm calling it a weak-D.

Agree this a "weak D". Nice clean-looking specimen!

On this one, id even call it a VG-8 due to a definite weak strike, as these are notorious of being. I too have a nice weak-D as well, the true grade is about AU-50, but looks like a F-15 in wear.
