I have the 1971 Queen Elizabeth II two new pants mistake coin I'm trying to find out what the value of this coin is it's in good condition with no surface wear and a very slight ding on the corner on the side very slight any opinions or appraisals someone can give me would be great thank you

I got a good laugh from the new pants part. Spell checker can crack me up. Your coin is very common. Many hundreds of millions were minted and are available in all grades.

These coins were minted in the billions - a quick Google search would tell you that. It's only the ones dated 1983 that are desirable.

Another victim of the ebay shysters who try to claim this coin is extremely rare, 1.5 billion were minted and they are worth precisely 2 pence. The only 2 pence coin worth any money is the 1983 mule that says new pence on the reverse instead of 2 pence.
