Yesterday, I bought two rolls of quarters and ten rolls of pennies from two corner stores. I figured that they would have re-rolls from the neighbourhood instead of new rolls from the bank. I was right. Every roll was contained a variety of dates. In addition to common, current coins this is what I found:
Quarters:
1965 U.S.
1989 U.S.
2003 U.S. (Arkansas)
1999 Can. (June Millennium Design- "From Coast to Coast" Train)
1999 Can. (November Millennium Design- "The Airplane Opens the North")
2006 Can. (Bravery)
2x 2008 Can. (Armistice (Poppy))
One Cent:
1995 Can. Dime
199? Can. Dime (Corroded)
1979 U.S. Dime
1940 Can.
1950 Can.
1956 Can.
2x 1957 Can.
1958 Can.
1959 Can.
4x 1960 Can.
1962 Can.
1963 Can.
3x 1964 Can.
2x 1965 Can.
1966 Can.
2001 Can. (Nicely toned and B.U.)
U.S. Cents:
1963
1964
3x 1970
16- U.S. Cents ranging in date from 1980-2007
It surprised me to find three dimes with the pennies! All the coins (except for the 2001 Can. cent) were in
circulated condition.
