Hello everyone I'm new to this hobby and am looking to learn more about coin collecting. I really like toned coins and mainly just coin roll hunt due to my lack of knowledge and until I figure out exactly what I want to focus on. I do have a few photos of some coins that I've come across that have some toning that I'd like some input on if anyone can lead me in the direction of whether or not to have them graded or how to store them properly to not lose the toning. I look forward to meeting some of you and see where coin collecting takes me

. A big challenge will be learning the difference between natural and artificial toning which matters to me but not everyone. Will wait for photos in the proper areas of the forum.

First off Brandon I would recommend getting a publication such as the Red Book where you can learn coin terminology, the minting process and grading. No matter what you decide to collect you will need to know these basics. Good luck with your quest and have fun with it.
