I have been watching and reading this forum since back in September when I started looking for information on metal detection and what people find with their detectors. Now is as good a time as any to contribute as I have found a great deal of information and enjoyed viewing the treasures everyone posts.

A bit of background information; I purchased my detector in a rush one afternoon during my lunch break and returned to a playground in the hopes of finding my lost wedding ring. It was worth it as I found my ring and a very addicting hobby in the process. The moral of the story is - don't take off your ring and put it in your pocket to climb on the monkey bars, because it will fall out when you swing on the swings.

Since then I have learned a lot about metal detecting and have found some interesting things:

Glad you found your ring Treasure-Hunter. Welcome to the world of lost and found. It is very addictive. The more you find the more you want to find.

Too funny Richard. My in-laws left this morning haven't been able to go out and look and the itch is going to finally get scratched. Can't wait to get out and do some hunting.

Tim make sure you show us your finds. Always like to see what others are finding.
