Good Morning, I am new to collecting, I got introduced to it by a colleague at work who has been buying and selling coins for a long time. so far I have a few nice old CAD and USD coins, still learning and love the challenge of researching and looking into the history of certain coins.

Welcome.

Yup... that's how one gets hooked... coin collecting is not only highly addictive but a gateway "drug" to the hoarding of multiple items. Pretty soon, as you learn to recognize the good from bad, everything you shop for will become just as discerning. I walk into a pawn shop, garage sale or thrift store now and I'm an "art collector", lol.

Watch for unusual and uncontrollable tendencies towards: Marbles. Stickers. Patches. Tin cans. Bottle caps. Pins. Rocks. Breadbag clips. Stamps.

Counsellors are standing by...
