here is the 1956 set.
The question is: which of the 2 is the better set? 55 or 56?

good advise. However, the reason for downsizing from many hundreds of coins is just that: reducing the # and keeping only the actual interest coins. In my case Canada QV and to-1921.
Most others will need to find a new home and "go somehere else". However, there are some scare exception coins. But even these would enjoy someone elses coin drawers.

I like the half and the quarter better in the 1955 set. The half has a much stronger strike. I like the dollar better in the 1956 set. It looks more likely to grade higher. I'm ambivalent about the rest. :). And yes I'd be happy to own either set. If it was me and I was keeping one set I'd keep the 1955 set, but that's mainly because I like halves more than anything.

When the picture is reflective like that, they look ms or pl 68, but could be only low 60's.

You can't see any hairlines or light scratches at all.

Be careful and bid accordingly.

NO scratches, touch ups or any trick Photography.
I am sure most of you are aware that shiny reflective coins are not easy to photograph if you are not a Professional. You can always copy and use your photo SW and play with them a bit and see.
And, I am sure everyone is aware that if you enlarge a perfect surface enough, there will always be micro hairlines and other 50x enlarged issues visible. It's just naturally in the metal.
And, at this time Nobody is bidding. No desicion is made as to how (graded or raw) or where these are going to be sold. There are 7 more sets to be considered.
