Is there reasons why PM's would be stopped? I did have the PM option earlier as a member contacted me with no problems to see if I wanted to sell a coin - and the sale was completed. But now, twice I have tried to PM another member with an offer of some foreign coins I have and offered them "No charge", just know he collects foreign coins and wanted to find them a good home. But no reply. And recently I was alerted I was sent a PM by another member but never received it. And YES, my "Allow Forum Members
to Send you E-Mail?" is checked in my profile.

Thanks dearborn - I think this was before the switchover. And the member that posted they sent me a PM - his reply was removed along with my response that I didn't receive it! I was wondering if it was my old PC but my old PC don't delete forum posts all by itself.

Nope - sorry Chip, got nothing. The only thing I can think of is I tried being nice to a kid by offering him some of my foreign coins for FREE!! and he took it as scary in todays world where an old fart (me-61) would actually try to be nice to a youngster then turned me in? - I give up - if that be then never again.

Well I hope that, that is not the case. Ya gotta look out for number one, cause no one else will. (I'm not that far off your age (2 years younger) So I never PM anyone first - ya never know

Yeah - I guess you are right - thought I was doing something good for the younger collectors - In todays world I guess you gotta watch out for everything. Ain't like in our days, that's for sure.

Roth, I sent you a PM from the Jukebox the other day. You never responded, I assume you didn't get it. Then I asked, in the Jukebox again, if you had gotten the PM. That post got deleted. I got a bot email reply saying I had broken CCF rules. Well, I certainly didn't break any rules asking if you had gotten a PM. I also tried to PM keith12 from the 20 Questions thread, and never heard back from him either. Looks like I have PM problems too.
I'm a bit cheesed that I've been punished without breaking any rules. I PM'd silverwolf after Secret Santa and it worked then. Who knows, this reply may get deleted too. I'll try again now, lets hope you get it. Why don't you try to PM me as well.

Sorry Looney - I got nothing. Must be on my end, my mail is fine as I get replies to topics but just the PM option has "decided" to stop all by itself. Oh well, it will save me some money from buying coins that other members are selling! LOL!!

Once the PM leaves the CCF server, it's at the 'tender' mercies of the Internet and then your ISP. Something in that path is blocking your messages. The recipients need to check their spam traps.
