February 22, 2006 -- On December 29, 2006 a member of the popular Coin Talk, a community website for coin collectors and numismatists, reported the discovery of a coin which seems to have been minted in 1283. It's a Lincoln Head Cent, the most common coin minted by the United States Mint.

While it is cool, it did not "make" Yahoo news. Peter submitted it and paid at least $30 to PRWeb and it automatically goes to Yahoo and Google news.

I did it with the James Taylor announcement.
