For those of you that have sattelite tv,there is a coin show on celebrity shopping network:which becomes fine art network in the evening called treasure hunter with jimmy g.this guy sells anything you can and cant imagine.he is a knowledgeable numismatist but sells all his coins etc. At 2 to 3 times fair market value.he is very funny to watch as he is always dropping the coins and fumbles over his words he will tell you what a fantastic buy you are getting.he also is obsessed with his young assistant laura and will talk at length to her and about her.tune in on tuesday and thursday eve at 7pmcst for a good laugh.or tivo it for later watching.channel 239 on directv.

Welcome to the forum, Dgoose50. I have heard quite a bit about this show. While I have heard that it is humorous, I feel bad for the people who buy from them.

Also, if you would, please do not post in all capital letters. It is much more difficult for our members to read and can be interpreted as yelling.

Grendelfreak, I do not think this was spam at all. I have edited your post due to the fact that it was interpreted by me as an attack on a new member and attacks on any members are not permitted.

I apologise, I just mistook the posting as spam due to its style.

Here you go grendelfreak:Treasure-Hunter
It's not a 'sorry' emoticon but it expresses itself in that its nice when everyone is on the same page and feeling good about themselves.

It's great to see dgoose posting and would be interested in knowing what the 'goose' collects in the way of coins.

thanks OlDdan,Ilove Morgan silver dollars especially in the grades of ms63 to ms68. Iusually buy coins slabbed by ngc or pcgs as my grading skills have been lacking in the past.Itend to under grade and I love a golden toned coin but cant get into the new craze for rainbow toning.I prefer th blast white coins above all the others.Ialways figure if a coin looks good to me it will look good to others.Love proof sets and glad to see all the new coins the mint is coming out with.I understand this drive for ms 70 coins but not to the extent that it has become.Ive been wrong in the past as I predicted the demise of the home shopping channels on tv way back in 1984.Love high grade bust halves,BARBER halves and capped bust and floeing hair dollars. does anyone out there share my fondness for these? please reply!

No need to apologize, it probably wasn't your fault. Once in a while, the forum will "hiccup".

When this happens, just click on the little trash can above one of them and you can delete it.

I love Bust halves but they don't need to uncirculated for me. I like the way they wear. I'm building a collection of VF or better. While I like Morgans, I don't collect them. I do enjoy grading them and researching them however. The Flowing Hair dollars are gorgeous but way out of my price range.
