I'm having a hard time with this coin trying to determine who the Emperor is and the more I look at it I'm beginning to think it's a contemporary counterfeit, am I wrong? The coin 24mm and weighs 6.3 grams.

Follis. Probably MAXIMIANVS at the top of the obverse.

@Bob L. You are correct again. I really thought I had a contemporary counterfeit. Better luck next time. I'm still looking for this coin in wildwinds with the star in left lower field and an "A" in the right field. Lots to look through. Thanks again.
