Since I started to collect double-portrait byzantine coins, I have encountered many beautiful examples. I just purchased one of Constans II and son. My wife bid on Classical Numismatic Group's electronic auction on the same coin for me as a belated Xmas present. I do not want to have two if I can avoid it... The one she chose on CNG turns out to have an excellent centered double-portrait and, while a bit off-centered on the reverse, appears to be better than the condition listed. In any case, I would think it worth more than $205 plus 10% fee as is estimated (more like $250-300 plus the 10% fee). I attest that I have not consigned this coin should anyone wonder! The auction goes on for another week... The worst that happens is that I get 2! Happy bidding...
