Took the coin to my local post office, he said it weighted .1 grams

Did he perhaps mean 0.1 ounces? (about 2.8 grams?)

IMO, a postal scale is only accurate enough for mail, not a coin- they are calibrated for weighing multi-ounce packages, not coins that weigh a few grams.

No he said .1 grams, its a feather weight can hardly tell you have it in your hand, the guy who weighted it was very surprised.

.1 grams ("point one grams", or 1/10th gram) is nothing. It cannot weigh that little.
