Looking to find out what cent this is and I'm pretty sure it is not a wrong planchet error, is it possible it is plated over a proof Indian Head cent.
i uploaded additional picture, no copper can be seen, the first photos had a reflection on them. The IH is in great shape .

No need for a poll.
It is a plated IH. You can see the copper where it has been worn through.
That pretty well destroys most of it's value.

. Agreed, plated after it left the mint. In future posts, please crop photos properly before clicking on post.

Shame, slightly tougher date with nice sharpness, but agree this is pretty much a goner.

It would have been a nice coin if not plated.

Well it's not plated over a proof , but it is plated and kills any value to the coin .

The IH is plated but is does not show any copper that was a reflection. What is the plating and can it be sold for a premium. it is still in great condition.

The plating is probably nickel or platinum or maybe even chrome. Is it magnetic?

If it is slightly magnetic it is nickel, if not it is most likely silver or chrome (But chrome is usually plated over a nickel base plating.) Other possibly but much less likely metals could be platinum or Rhodium. Zinc is a common plating but doesn't really polish up like that.

With the plating it is now worth MUCH MUCH less than it would have been worth if it wasn't plated.
