Hello,

Any thoughts on what this coin is? I believe the legends read "SOLVM . DEVM . A DORABIS . ET . ILLI .", and "SOLI . DEO . HONOR . ET . GLORIA".

I think the date on the coin is 1552 but perhaps the last digit could also be a 3. Any ideas or leads are most appreciated.

Thank you!

It is a token by Henry II of France, very similar to this one: https://www.cgbfr.com/henri-ii-henr...08579,a.html

The date could well be 1552, Henry ruled 1547-59.

I believe this is a jeton of Henri II of France. I don't really know anything about them, unfortunately, other than there seem to be several versions of these with very slight design differences...
