Yes, I Collect More Than Lincolns....

Thanks folks! I'm glad you all enjoyed seeing the pictures.

I have no intention of selling most of my collection, I'm doing this for my kids. My prayer is that they will appreciate the coins when I'm gone and not just run off to a dealer and unload. I think they already understand that, but I will have a lengthy note kept with the collection that explains my feelings and that the coins are to be passed on. Selling them would only be acceptable in a dire emergency! However, the Lincoln collection is NEVER to sold under any circumstances....expept perhaps to save a life. My instuctions are that it's their duty to continue to improve the collection....even if it's just one coin. I consider the Lincolns to be a sort of "family treasure".

morgans_dad - I keep all the valuable parts of my collection at the bank, next time I go I'll bring something back for pictures again.
