I've been going through the "uncleaned" lot I bought a while ago and this little critter showed up. I've been searching through all sorts of coinage and it looks like the reverse MIGHT be Byzantine? But the obverse seems to have Asiatic iconography? This one has completely foiled any attempt I've made at identifying it, which is not helped by the fact that it seems to be a casting error, since the strike is completely off center and doesn't even line up between front and rear.

Maybe a tetarteron of Manuel I Comnenus, Thessalonica mint. The delta would be in the right place for MANHΛ ΔECΠOT YP.
