Beware of fakes made in good quality gold.
Weight for this coin OK, but that may not mean very much.
Sometimes, such fakes are made from recycled modern coin gold. XRF will easily prove if this is the case.
If buying ancient Greek gold, check for an independently provable provenance (such as auction records), and not just the seller's say-so.
As I understand it,
it is illegal to ancient sell coins from which they may have originated in a hoard. Such coins will need an official and provable government authorization to be sold outside the country in which they were found.
