Most likely a token. Could you please post the other side of it too? That will help us determine if it is currency or not.

It's not a coin. Most likely a religious medal, or a piece of one. Whether it's "garbage" or not depends on what it's made of, I guess.

It looks like the Danforth Pewter Angel Pocket charm, but it doesn't look like it has the hallmark. If you google "angel coin" you'll see the example I'm talking about. It is probably a copy of that.
