Anyone know why there appears to be a lack of availability with Mexican gold coins at present. I've looked at JM and APMEX and unless you're buying coins that have a numismatic premium there doesn't appear to be much of anything.

Maybe scarce on the bullion market as new coins just now, but perhaps not so scarce on the numismatic market.

I lucked out on the dip in February and scored two 20 Pesos, both dated in the 'teens. Provident. Haven't seen any since.

Four years ago, I could buy nice examples of 50 pesos for less than $1,500. Today they are averaging $2,500 to start. For some reason my favorite vendor can't or won't source them now for some time.
