Need Help With Chinese Cash Coins - Coin Community Forum

MS2007 New Member United States 11 Posts	Posted 07/31/2021 3:07 pm Hello everyone, I would like to get some help identifying those Chinese cash coins. I figured out the first two I believe but still would appreciate your help with the others. All coins are ~23-24mm. From left to right: 1.) Emperor Kangxi, Hartill 22.090 2.) Boo-chiowan, probably Qianlong https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1133.html 3.) Also Boo-chiowan, but which emperor? 4.) Could be Quinlong but odd color, coin has weak magnetic reaction. Sap Moderator Australia 16808 Posts	Posted 08/30/2021 5:52 pm I suspect the silvery one may be plated, for decorative purposes. Silver-plating of Chinese cash is scarce, because they're "supposed" to look brassy. It's possible it's been in some kind of environment that turned it silvery, but that would be a very odd circumstance.
