Asian Banknote, Receipt, Other? Help Requested.

living-in-the-past Valued Member United States 134 Posts	Posted 07/31/2021 5:50 pm This is a recent acquisition. I think it is Chinese, but not 100% sure. Probably not a bank note, but maybe a bond receipt, heck (H*ll) note, other? I am not really sure. It is uniface and measures 60mm x 138mm. As usual, any thoughts regarding attribution, age, rarity, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Report this Post to the Staff

Had to turn my head side ways to read the stamped Chinese calendar dated 1915, January 18th. (1926). I'm not sure if that face value reads ten cents? aiglet7 Pillar of the Community Canada 695 Posts	Posted 08/01/2021 3:09 pm As far as I can tell this is a Special Permit issued by the Ministry of Finance. As @macmercury writes the date is the 15th year of the Republic of China and the date on the document January 18th (28?) 1926. The value appears to be 10 Jiao (10 cents). I can make out the word for 'lucky' but don't know the context. Report this Post to the Staff
