To wrap up my look at the National
Baseball Hall of Fame's official 75th anniversary medals and coin in their custom packaging by Coins of American, I thought it would be good to present larger images of each of the medals in my collection along with a series of "full package" shots that I pulled from the series' web site when it was still active in 2014/2015. (I've had it in the back of mind to share the series here on CCF for some time and planned ahead!)
Note 1: Each of the medals and coin are presented Obverse on the left, Reverse on the right.Note 2: The "Full Package" images are low resolution, but the best I could capture at the time.Volume 1: In the Beginning Medal
Volume 1 Package Shot
Volume 2: Evolution of the Hall Medal
Volume 2 Package Shot
Volume 3: The Hall Enters the 21st Century Medal
Volume 3 Package Shot
Volume 4: An Unbreakable Bond US Half Dollar
Volume 4 Package Shot
A final thought: I think the four-volume commemorative set produced by Coins of America under license from the National
Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is a great collection - attractive, well-made and full of great content regarding the Hall, baseball history and the game's place in American history. As a collector of US commemorative pieces - coins AND medals - and a baseball fan, I am very happy that I purchased the complete set when it was available as its difficult to track down today. Though they are never likely to become valuable collectibles, I believe them to be great "cousins" to the US Mint's releases and definitely worthy of my collection!
Hopefully, you enjoyed having a look at each of the volumes!
