1890 Farthing With Different Counter Stamps

Good afternoon everyone from sweltering Western New York. You walk outside and immediately start dripping with sweat. We are not use to that here. Give me the snow!

Anyhow on to the topic. I have an 1890 Farthing with JJ stamped on the obverse and MC or MCC stamped on the reverse. Anyone have any Ideas? I know it is thrown around about someone with a "new toy" stamp. But both sides!

I hate snow. I have been in enough to cure me.
On the other hand I would hate to live in Singapore. I must be somewhat like Florida at its worst.


My guess is that this Farthing may have been counter stamped to be a love token.
A keeper for it's curiosity value.
